TOMMY HANCOCK LIVE FROM THE COTTON CLUB
Originally Recorded in 1967, this music captures the live
feel of a honky-tonk party. As a bonus, this CD format includes an
interview with Tommy Hancock at the Buddy Holly Symposium 2001,
Lubbock, Texas. Between the music and the interview gain unique
insight from the perspective of a West Texas bandleader and beatnik of the
time.
LUBBOCK LIGHTS...SPOTTED AGAIN!
 Get the Akashic Recordings release, LUBBOCK LIGHTS on CD. The
disc features the Supernatural Family Band live at the Texas
Spoon Cafe and Bar in Lubbock, Texas in 1986. The performance also
features long-time Lubbock friends John X Reed, guitar; "Big Dog" Curly
Lawler, fiddle; "Country Dick" and Richard Barnett, drums; and Billy Manley,
Fender 8-string steel. Three bonus studio tracks features original
Flatlanders
Steve Wesson and Tony Pearson, Norman Condray, Jesse "Guitar" Taylor, and
Barry "Frosty" Smith.
Tommy Hancock said that this was one of his favorite bands of all time,
playing the most requested songs of his career as a dance bandleader.
